Elementary Track Champs: Members of the Second ward track team which Wednesday afternoon won the city grade school title are: Front - Tommy Brown, John Mossholder, Billy Graham, Don Dalrymple, Keith Lewis, Junior Berry. Second - cheerleaders, Margaret Smith, Nancy Humbert, Roberta Curry, Annette Burris, Charlene Osborn, Janet Bumpus. Top - Dick Haas, Bill Baker, Carrol Tille, Coach Eugene Marchal, Jimmy McKee, Bob White, Clarence Benson.

Grade School Queens - Each of the seven schools in Wednesday's grade track carnival elected a queen for the event. The queens, who presided at the meet and presented ribbons to winners are: Marjorie Sanner, First Ward; Marjorie Barncord, Elmwood; Betty Lou Skinner, Second Ward; Molly Fletcher, Third Ward; Loretta Davis, Fourth Ward; and Sandy Bowman, Hiawatha.
