Wanda and Andy Anderson
Wanda and Andy Anderson live in Owensboro in the summer and near me in Rancho Mirage in the winter. They have a magnificent home in Owensboro. They have three sons, three lovely daughters-in-law and lots of grand children. Andy and Wanda meet while he was starting college and she was a high school cheer leader. Andy is an athlete. He played basketball and baseball. He received a scholarship in basketball and played for a Texas college. Now his sport is golf. Andy invited me to play the new 'Victoria Country Club'. What an outstanding golf course.
Andy has been an insurance man most of his professional life. He has won many awards and trips sponsored by the companies he represents. He meet my good friends Bob and Pat Harris on one of the trips. That is how I was introduced to Andy. The Anderson's three sons, Eric, Todd and Brad, are also involved in the business.
The Anderson's lead a hectic life. The grandkids are involved in lots of 'kid' type activities. I had a chance to see Katy Anderson's girls softball team win a close game. The Anderson's belong to the Owensboro Country Club. I played the course with Andy. And we had a nice dinner there one evening. And not to be missed, we had a great buffet at the Moonlite Bar-B-Q.
April 4, 2002 - Andy, and sons Brad and Todd joined me for a game of golf on the Stadium course at PGA West. I've added a few photos. See the bottom thumbnail pictures.

Victoria National was Golf Digest's number one new private course in 1999.
Golf Week rates it number 20 in their "2001 America's Best Modern Golf
Courses".
The course was constructed on a reclaimed coal strip mine.
Terry Friedman spent $25 million building the course.
The course is located in Newburgh, Indiana near Evansville in the south part of
the state.
This is a 'must play' golf course.
