You follow the Rio Grande river from Santa Fe to Taos. It is a scenic, short, pleasant drive. Taos is known as an artist colony. The Taos valley sits at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. There is one great golf course - Taos CC. I did not play it buy had a nice lunch. The course is run by American Golf.
